SOME COMMENTS FROM VISITORS TO THE WEBSITE
I am a Christian and have been deeply moved by the current refugee crisis and have been frustrated by responses from our government. These people are children of God, and deserve the love and grace and support and safety that this nation and its people can offer but I have questioned a lot what it is that I can do personally.
What more can I do,? I am British from an originally refugee family in the 1800s... I cannot just watch the crisis in Calais unfold and simply just give clothes etc.
Absolutely loving the hard work you are doing to stand in solidarity with those in Calais. So beautiful to read your stories and see glimmers of hope in the midst of pain. Praise God!
Thank you for all the excellent work you are doing! It really is remarkable.
The photos on your website give real hope - thank you. I loved seeing the Sudanese school and the ways in which the residents are making their homes personal to them.
We work with churches of all denomination in the community to be a witness of God's love to all. We have been very moved by the plight of refugees in Calais and want to contribute to the alleviation of their conditions. We would like to come with goods and spend time doing whatever else we can do in the camp.
I was so pleased to stumble across your website & see the fantastic work you are doing to support those in 'the jungle'. I feel so helpless to know what we can do to help this humanitarian crisis on our doorstep.
First thank you for the work you are doing in Calais .... Belatedly I am more aware of the situation that is happening so near.
Your website and u-tube are very inspirational!
Having been saddened by the migrant crisis I would like to help you with your support for the migrants in Calais. Please let me know what you would like so that what I collect is effective.
So glad to hear what you are doing to show our humanity and defy rhetoric of fear and prejudice. Would like to help and encourage members of our church to help too.
Hi, as a church in the Rhondda we would love to show our love and concern for the people at Calais. How can we get involved ?
